Almost flames

Here is the yellow layer. It is a bit strong. I’m going in one more time with a clear orange and try to shape this up a little. Time to move on to something new.

Red Dragon, end in sight

The end is in sight. Let’s get this done and off the easel. It’s time to put some reds on the pallet a fix those shoulders. After adding a highlight to the eye I can prep the image and put another T shirt in my online store. Then if I can sell a million of them I can quit my day job and stay home painting and watching the Summer Olympics. Make a plan. Work the plan.

Red Dragon tshirt design

I’m going to make put this one on a Tshirt. It is starting to come together so let’s get to it.

There are some obvious anatomy problems that need to be sorted out. On the dragon I mean, stop looking at me like that. And I will need to take a closer look at the eye. Bet you didn’t see that one coming.

The errant blobs of red are where I got my hand in the wet paint. I only do that six or eight times on every painting. I can’t work on a car without busting my knuckles and I can’t paint without making a mess. You should see me try to run.
